Yesik vocational and technical college


The Esiksky vocational technical college Institution begins its history in 2002. In 2002, at the request of the residents of the Enbekshikazakh district, the Esik Vocational School was established in the city of Esik to train workers. Form of ownership: private.

In 2002-2009, the training of workers was carried out as:

  • 3W07161301 - Car repair mechanic, 3W07161302 - Electrician for repair of automotive electrical equipment

  • 3W07130101 - Electrician (by type and industry)

On 07.07.2009, the EPTSH was renamed the "Professional Lyceum of the city of Esik" Institution. Additionally, the following specialties were opened: 07130100 "Electrical equipment (by type and industry)" qualification 3W07130101 "electrician (by type and industry)",10120100 "Hairdressing", qualification 3W10120101 "Hairdresser -stylist".

On 15.01.2013, it was renamed the Esiksky vocational technical college institution

The Esiksky vocational technical college institution (hereinafter referred to as the College) is a non-profit legal entity in the form of a private educational institution operating under a state license.

The supreme governing body is the General Meeting of the founders. The founders of the college are: Zhazybaev Dulat Musabalinovich and Ordabayeva Bakitkamal.

Location of the college: Republic of Kazakhstan, 040400, Almaty region, Enbekshikazakh district, city of Esik, Almatinskaya str., 1.

The college has an independent balance sheet, an account with Halyk Bank of Kazakhstan JSC in accordance with the legislation, and a seal.

The subject of the College's activities is the training, retraining and advanced training of qualified workers and mid-level specialists in educational programs of technical and vocational education.

The college has an educational complex covering an area of 0.8390 hectares, which includes:

  • ✔ academic building;
  • ✔ educational and production workshops on specialties: 1114000 "Welding", 1201000 "Maintenance, repair and operation of motor transport";
  • ✔ assembly hall;
  • ✔ dining room;
  • ✔ gym, sports ground.

The college has 7 classrooms, 4 educational laboratories and 2 educational and production workshops. The equipment of classrooms and laboratories meets the requirements of the educational process and ranges from 80 to 100% of the standard list.

Currently, the college conducts educational activities in 5 specialties and 7 qualifications according to the state license issued by the Department for Control of Education in the Almaty region of the Committee for Control of Education and Science of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated 22.01.2019 №KZ19LAA00013827 (Appendix 1). Activities are carried out on the basis of the Charter, Internal Regulations, and Regulations.

The training is conducted on the basis of basic general and general secondary education in full-time education in the state and Russian languages.

The purpose of the College is to implement one or more educational curricula and provide education and upbringing for students.

To achieve this goal, the college carries out the following activities::

  • 1) implementation of educational programs for technical and vocational, post-secondary education;
  • 2) placing a state educational order for the training, advanced training and retraining of qualified workers and specialists with technical and vocational, post-secondary education;
  • 3) provision of professional training, retraining and advanced training of personnel for various sectors of the economy;
  • 4) provision of paid educational services in accordance with the procedure established by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Tasks:

  • 1) creating the necessary conditions for obtaining high-quality education aimed at the formation, development and professional development of a personality based on national and universal values, achievements of science and practice;
  • 2) providing professional orientation work with students;
  • 3) development of learning systems that ensure the relationship between theoretical learning, on-the-job training and the needs of the labor market, and help everyone maximize their personal potential in a knowledge-based society.;
  • 4) the introduction and effective use of new learning technologies that facilitate the timely adaptation of vocational education to the changing needs of society and the labor market;
  • 5) integration of educational programs in technical and vocational, post-secondary education and production.

The College implements educational programs of technical and vocational education on the basis of a license issued in accordance with the current legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

College education is provided on a budgetary and fee-based basis.

The college has successfully passed several state certifications, the last of which was in 2020.

The college has an official website (). www.eptc.kz ), which works in three languages: the official language, Russian and English.

The college is actively implementing information and communication, interactive and other pedagogical technologies. The Sanaly Urpak club, the Rukhani Zhangyru center, and the Worldskills training ground for the Automotive Mechanic competence have been established and are successfully operating. Participation and victories in regional and national competitions prove the effectiveness of these areas. College students are winners and prize-winners of the Worldskills regional Championship and various sports competitions.

Since 2018, the college has introduced dual training in the specialty "Catering" qualification "Cook".

Since 2017– the Enbek Program for Productive Employment and Mass Entrepreneurship for 2017-2021 has been underway.

The participants of the Enbek training program with VET are graduates of grades 9-11 of current and previous years, persons who do not have a professional education and have not enrolled in educational institutions, job seekers, the unemployed, members of low-income and/or large families, as well as other categories of citizens registered at the Employment Center of the Yenbekshikazakh district.

The State fully or partially compensates for the costs of maintaining students in need of social assistance during their education.

Cooperation between business and the college within the framework of an industry cluster makes it possible to take into account the needs of businesses for qualified personnel meeting modern requirements.

Close communication with employers, focus on results, and practice–oriented educational process led to a high percentage of employment among college graduates. At the moment, about 72% of college graduates are working in their specialty.
